REBEL MOON PART TWO: THE SCARGIVER

I have just recently got sucked into Zack Snyder's most recent full length Netflix feature which is actually the second installment to what could be called as the early phase of his "Rebel Moon" saga. The Scargiver is practically a revelation on the true identity of the film's heroine Kora (played by Sofia Boutella) also known as Arthelais "The Scargiver" that the first film (Rebel Moon: A Child of Fire) left out.
Quite frankly, I don't understand why other film critics are giving this a thumbs down. I understand that the story is somewhat like a rehash of other sci-fi films and literary works. I probably saw a little bit of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and even The Magnificent Seven mixed here and there - but as far as entertainment value is concerned, this one's an amazing popcorn-worthy movie that deserves its own cult following. Even better than that of Dune - there I've said it.
A word of caution. Don't watch Part Two if you haven't watched Part One because you'll be lost.
