ENCANTO 2021
A magical disney film with music from Lin-Manuel Miranda. I have about 2 songs in the film that I really liked and one is "Under The Surface" which I think is the most relatable of all the scenes and practically encapsulates all the feelings that this film is trying to convey. Setting is Spanish-Columbia and talks about family, differences, expectations and community. What's different in the film on the technical side is the moving camera during some of the musical numbers most noticeable in "We don't Talk About Bruno". It's not as memorable as Tangled, Aladdin or Frozen but it does have its moments.
