THE BATMAN 2022 
Matt Reeves' The Batman is a fantastic rendition of some of the dark knight's greatest comic book stories. Most notably "Year One" by Frank Miller, "Year Two" by Mike Barr, and "The Long Halloween" by Jeph Loeb. This movie explores the early stage of the caped crusader's crime fighting and detective work against Gotham's most powerful criminals. I was skeptical upon hearing that Robert Pattinson was selected to play "the" Batman in this film but I believe that he actually did a good job. The suit fits! Colin Farrell (Penguin), Paul Dano (Riddler), Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), John Turturro (Falcone), Andy Serkis (Alfred) and Jeffrey Wright (Gordon) all did an amazing portrayal of their characters. Kudos to director Reeves for making this into something close to a horror film!
