GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE 2021
Now that's how you make a tribute to a fallen Ghostbuster! This film is all about Egon Spengler and his legacy. And even if actor Harold Ramis is already on the other side, you can still feel his presence in the movie all throughout. Afterlife is like a reboot, a sequel and a reunion all rolled into one. Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) and McKenna Grace (Annabelle Comes Home) were perfect Spenglers! This movie is, by the way, the sequel to the original 80s film and is not in any way connected to the 2016 all-female Ghostbusters reboot. I was kinda expecting Paul Rudd's character to be a little bit more significant, but he just mirrored a Rick Moranis, so that was a bit of a bummer. But overall the film was a worthy sequel.
