BLACK ADAM
As far as ticket sales are concern, Wakanda Forever seems to be making more money than Black Adam. However, I think Black Adam is still the most enjoyable superhero film we've had this year. The humor matches that of Shazam, maybe to align the two franchise for a Captain Marvel - Black Adam death match or a three-way rumble now that Clark Kent is in the picture. The presence of Justice Society is also an added treat but we already knew it coming a mile away. This film could've taken a more serious, darker, black adam-ish path but that will pull it away from the disney-like story of Captain Marvel. And so, casting Dwayne Johnson as the anti-hero makes sense in this case. He gets away with almost no acting at all. 😁
