First of all, I have no issues with Vic Sotto playing the role of Lakan Makisig - I think he played it well. The problem is that he should've changed his look a bit - grew some facial hair, a couple of facial scars, facial tattoo or a different hairdo perhaps. Kasi when I look at him I still see Enteng Kabisote hahaha
Anyway, the "What If" scenario is fresh but historians and anthropologists might raise an eyebrow or two BUT this film is not actually aiming to propose a hypothesis or a theory - it's straight up fiction, close to a fairy tale in fact. And with that in mind, the film carries a lot of weight to keep viewers fully intrigued and entertained. If you're looking for two reasons to watch this film - it's got to be Piolo Pascual and Sid Lucero. Impeccable performances.
