What the Rain Wrote in May 2019

"Every life, every day is in danger. That's just life." - Asst. Director Walter Skinner / X-Files

Dalawa lang po, PERFORMANCE at someone who I think CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE on social issues that are close to me such as: Welfare of the Children and Youth, Education, Environment, and Security-Safety-Justice (Dapat Magkakasama Yun).
I don't look at political, family or religious affiliations and popularity.
You have your own minds. Do your research, double-check, triple-check, and weigh your options. Do what's best for you, your family, your children and all the people that you love.

It looks like rain. It feels like rain. But it has no rain. Just like what I ordered for today!

From the time I was reapproved for monetization last March 13 I have uploaded only a total of 25 videos in my channel - all original (non-music) contents and have not received any copyright strikes or any kind of violations (just like before)! Tapos ngayon suspended na naman ako on the account of their very vague REUSED CONTENT criteria? What is happening to your people YOUTUBE? So incompetent! 😠

Ever felt that your life is somehow misplaced? That you were meant for something greater but you're just at the wrong place right now?

On election day, I would like to share this quoted dialogue between Jeremiah Smith and the Cancer Man from The X-Files Season 3 Episode 24: Talitha Cumi - an episode heavily influenced by "The Grand Inquisitor" - a chapter in Fyodor Dostoyevsky's novel "The Brothers Karamazov".

Cancer Man: Who are you to give them hope?

Jeremiah: And what do you give them?

Cancer Man: We give them happiness and they give us authority.

Jeremiah: The authority to take their freedom away in the guise of democracy?
Cancer Man: Men can never be free, because they're weak, corrupt, worthless... and restless. The people believe in authority. They've grown tired of waiting for miracle or mystery. Science is their religion - no greater explanation exists for them!

COMPLETION! It may not look like it, but speaking in front of teens and facilitating a leadership camp for 3 days is a very draining activity, but one that is the most rewarding - tired but I am definitely happy.

I dont really enjoy the wet season, hate ko ang basang kalsada but my wallet is really crying for rain now, meralco is so unkind!

So why choose people who make you feel like you're a last resort? Always work with those who genuinely value you. Your choice.

Wish I have no expectations.
But I expect. YOU expect. WE expect.

Some of the alternative pop hits today reminds me of the downer-edgy feel of 90's Grunge music - here are my top 3 favorites:

  • Bad Guy by Billie Eilish
  • Getting Closer by Justin Jesso
  • Dear Society by Madison Beer

Bow.

And the weirdness starts:

Earlier. Nakapila ako sa unahan ng electronic entrance ng LRT when this woman behind me scanned her card on the machine before I could.

Half of Paco is raining.
The other half is sun bathing.
It's going to be a weird day.

A lot of leaders - Government, Church, Business, Community, NGOs and even in the Youth sector - are so busy making a name for themselves at the expense of genuine SERVICE for the people that they lead. #MorningRain #JustSaying #RealTalk

Chinese Hindi China! Pilipino Hindi Pilipinas!

I say this not only to Filipinos who are critical of their presence here in the country but also to Chinese sympathizers as well who uses the word in the same manner.

It's the political policy that offends us and not the whole Chinese people - you win by picking the right battles!

But the fact of the matter is the politics of business and the business of politics are the ones making it complicated.
Sabi nila poor urban planning, vehicle volume, lack of discipline and lack of mass transport systems ang problema - so therefore ano ang solusyon?

Based sa mga sinasabi nila e di:
  1. Ayusin ang Metro Manila
  2. Bawasan ang sasakyan
  3. Ipatupad ang mga batas at mag disiplina
  4. Magdagdag ng mass transport systems
May nakalimutan kasi sila sa mga dapat ayusin bago magawa lahat yan - bawasan and sobrang pamumulitika!

  • Bakit di matanggal illegal vendors? - Botante yan e
  • Bakit ang daming informal settlers sa Manila? - Botante yan e
  • Bakit wala pa ring common station ng MRT? - Pambili ng mga Botante yan e
URBAN PLANNING - Matagalan to, mahirap gawing BGC ang buong Metro Manila.

For public utility vehicles (yellow plates) and service vehicles (delivery, etc) same number coding scheme, pero for privately owned vehicles dapat 2 days sila di pwede bumiyahe sa isang linggo.

MASS TRANSPORT - at dahil dadagsa ang dami ng mananakay, baka pwede i prioritize (FOR REAL as in URGENT) ang pag dagdag ng mga tren sa MRT at LRT at gawing mas mabilis ang dating lalo na pag rush hours.
